TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. ACCEPTANCE Acceptance of our quotation or the placement of an order constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions in their entirety, unless explicitly varied in writing by PrintMart.

  2. QUOTATIONS AND ESTIMATES

    (a) Quotations are based on current costs of materials and services and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, are subject to amendment to account for cost increases between the date of quotation and the date of execution. Quotations remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

           (b) Quotations based on specifications, roughs, layouts, samples, or other provided materials are subject  to additional charges for extra work

or variations from the customer’s original instructions.

           (c) Upon customer acceptance, PrintMart’s written quotation is deemed an accurate interpretation of the  customer's instructions.

  1. CUSTOMER SUBMISSIONS Order processing will commence once the following requirements are met:

  • Receipt of press-ready files.

  • Payment is processed.

  1. PROOFS Proofs will be provided upon request for customer approval prior to printing. PrintMart accepts no liability for errors not corrected by the customer on proofs.

  • For accurate color matching, customers must purchase a press match proof. Customer-supplied proofs are not accepted as they are not calibrated to our presses.

  • Jobs without proof will follow recognized industry standards. Variations in color between proofs and the final product, due to differences in equipment and processes, are acceptable.

  • Monitor calibration affects on-screen colors, which may differ from printed results. PrintMart does not guarantee color matching.

  1. PRINT/DELIVERY SCHEDULE The delivery schedule begins:

  • Upon proof approval.

  • If no proof is required, upon receipt of payment.

Shipping time is not included in the turnaround time and should be factored into the customer’s schedule.

  2. SPECIAL PURCHASES Special materials such as dies, knives, and engravings purchased for customer orders will be chargeable but remain the property of PrintMart.

  3. OVERS AND UNDERS PrintMart endeavors to deliver exact quantities but reserves a margin of 10% over or under the specified quantity. Credit will be issued for shortfalls, and overages will not be charged.

  3. GENERAL LIEN PrintMart retains a general lien on all customer goods in its possession for unpaid debts. After 14 days' notice, PrintMart may dispose of such goods to recover debts.

  4. WAIVER Any waiver by PrintMart of specific terms does not release the customer from other obligations under these terms and conditions.

  5. STANDING MATERIAL All plates, type, and other printing materials may be destroyed upon order completion unless the customer requests their retention in writing. Retained materials remain PrintMart’s property, and storage fees may apply.
